Presentation at the "22. Europäischer Polizeikongress"
We were at the "22. Europäischer Polizeikongress" (22nd European Police Congress). On invitation of Copting GmbH we were able to present our prototype of a tether system for the H520 from Yuneec.
As a young start-up, we are very grateful to the company Copting GmbH to be able to present our prototype for a tethered H520 from Yuneec in front of the audience from various European police units and units entrusted with police tasks. The congress will take place on February 19 and 20, 2019 at the Berlin Congress Center (bcc).
The prototype is already based on our concepts for modular design and is realized as a 10-inch assembly in a Zarges K470. The on-board module for the Yuneec H520 is still based on a modified battery case of the copter, but will be housed in its own case in the future that will solve the challenges of cooling the system. The finished system will enable the H520 to achieve a flight time far beyond the regular battery life through direct power supply. This allows, for example, demonstrations or other police operations to be observed from the air without interruption.
Due to the prohibition to take photos during the congress, we limit ourselves to two pictures of the setup on the previous day.
