The Tether Ground Station rackTether was developed to withstand the toughest conditions while also being available as OEM hardware for custom projects. The system is based on two cassette cartridges designed for integration into 19-inch racks. Each cassette individually meets the necessary protection requirements against rain, dust, and vibration in accordance with MIL-STD-810. As a standard transport solution, the TGS rackTether is housed in a heavy-duty case and meets additional protection criteria. Particular emphasis is placed on the system’s maintainability, both in the field and during regular inspection processes.

With the quick-change of the TetherCassette (TeCa), it’s not just the tether cable that’s replaced. The entire reel mechanism is once again fully operational and ready for use by the operator.
In the background, we or certified service centers will then carry out maintenance or replace the damaged cable.
